I really loved this podcast episode and many thanks to Bill Koenig and Frank R. for highlighting the fascinating early works of Johnny Williams!! Very intriguing! Wow, Johnny played piano for Mancini’s “Peter Gunn”!! Also Checkmate. I share the same zeal as Bill for 1960’s adventure shows! Music can definitely elevate the project! Did you know the opening of “The Killers” borrowed from the opening of Mancini’s “Touch of Evil”? What was missing at the end of the podcast was the actual cue from “The Tammy Grimes Show” but great discussion. Thanks Frank R.
